Terms of use

These terms are between you and Vaibhav Sharma, who runs trail. By creating an account or logging in, you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

Who can use trail

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens in your account.

Not medical advice

trail is a tool for following and tracking a plan. It does not give medical advice. Plans, medicines and supplements come from your coach or from you; talk to a qualified doctor before starting, changing or stopping any medicine, diet or exercise, and in an emergency contact a doctor or emergency services, not the app.

For coaches

• Only add people who have agreed to use trail with you, and keep their details accurate.
• You are responsible for the advice and plans you give, and for being qualified to give them.
• Payments are between you and your clients; trail only helps you keep a record of them.
• Deleting your coach account deletes your clients' records and logins too.

Community rules

• Keep it about fitness, health, food and sport, in English for now.
• Be respectful: no abuse, harassment, hate, or sexual content.
• No ads, links, spam, or selling; no phone numbers or email addresses.
• No medical advice presented as fact, no dangerous or illegal practices (for example steroids or extreme diets), and nothing false or misleading.
• Only post what you have the right to share, and nothing that exposes someone else's private information.

Anyone can report a post or comment. Reported content may be hidden straight away and is reviewed; we remove content that breaks these rules or the law, and may suspend accounts that keep breaking them. To complain about content or a removal, write to the grievance officer named in the privacy policy; we acknowledge within 24 hours and act within 15 days, or sooner where the law requires.

Fair use

Don't try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, send spam through messages, or use trail for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

What you put into trail stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it only to run the app for you.

Availability and liability

We work to keep trail running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made from information in the app.

Ending

You can stop using trail and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms.
